I bought 8 pair of these many (15? 20?) years ago. I liked them so much I went back the next week and bought 8 more. I still have all of them, and I wear them year-round. They are comfortable in heat or cold, never make me sweat, not too tight at the top, and they do NOT wear out. I've not had so much as a single hole in any of them. Even the elastic is good. The medium-gray color works with anything short of formal wear. I feel like I need to replace them but I can't think of a good reason to do so. Now I'm wondering if Carhart makes them.
